Le Homard Bleu sur Le Treport

This is our favourite restaurant in Le Tréport, the food is always superb, staff friendly and the decoration is refined. What we really love is that they accept well behaved dogs and our 2 get treated so well there. We’d booked a table yesterday and when we arrived the manager shows us to a quiet table where the dogs can relax whilst we ate. This is much appreciated. Food yesterday was divine. The 27€ menu didn’t disappoint, seafood starter, fish soup then fresh cod and a fish pie both of which were delicious followed by a superb crème brûlée and a homemade chocolate mousse. It’s not a rushed meal, some might describe the service as slow but for us the pace was perfect, I hate it when a course is cleared away and the next course arrives immediately. Pretty good overall, although I was disappointed by the seafood platter; there was a lot of water.

We had a lovely evening in this restaurant with its cozy atmosphere. From the aperitif to the dessert, we enjoyed every dish.

How could anyone not rave about this restaurant? ⭐The staff: absolutely charming, attentive, pleasant, and very professional. ⭐The dishes: absolutely exquisite: fresh shrimp, divine fish soup, mussels with fresh parsley sauce...wow! ⭐Desserts: absolutely PERFECT! Homemade nougat with fresh coulis (a rare find)! Chocolate mousse with homemade cream! A welcome change from those awful carton-style creams. 🙄 Honestly, it's a little slice of paradise; it was pure bliss! And the price is very, very reasonable!!! Kudos to the owner, absolutely adorable, a gentleman who loves people!!! Go there immediately! Pure bliss! 💗 Now that's a real restaurant!
