Le Jaja sur Lille

Wine bar in old Lille with a good reputation. The wines are very good. The problem is more in terms of service, where, for the price offered, it was not necessarily up to par. No explanations offered on the wine we chose, for the place it’s still a shame. We are served without looking at our glasses and we repeat what the waitress at the next table says… We did not find it very professional.

One of my must-see addresses in Lille and which I recommend with my eyes closed to anyone who wants to have a great time. An impressive selection of wines, delicious charcuterie/cheese or seafood platters and service that matches the setting!

Packed on a Tuesday night, lovely buzzy atmosphere. Very helpful and friendly staff and a great selection of wines by the glass or bottle. Our mixed sharing board was wonderful

We ended up here on a rainy Sunday evening and it was the perfect cozy place to relax after a weekend in Lille. The food was excellent; we had seafood and cheese boards and asked the friendly and knowledgable staff to recommend wine to go with them. Each of the selections were perfect, we ended up having 5 glasses each as we were enjoying it so much! The bill ended up a lot less than we expected too.
