Best hotel across the board in all of Montpellier. While the building is of historical and cultural significance, the room are modern, I presume completely remodeled and modernized. Internet, plumbing, beds, air handling all perfect. Fantastic bar and restaurant, perfectly quiet in rooms. Maid service was impeccable. We ate early in the morning, and the restaurant played 70s funk quietly in the background. So cool.

I tried the brewery, very very good (be careful, the price is accordingly); don't hesitate to have a drink upstairs and look at this magnificent ceiling

Very beautiful private hotel, located in the center of Montpellier with impeccable service. It’s very nice to be welcomed with such kindness. The valet even became a historical guide and organized a very interesting guided tour for us. The place is magnificent, full of history and dotted with countless works of art. Even if you don't stay there, it's worth a look for the pleasure of the eyes. We also had a drink on the terrace, in a charming setting with impeccable service. So a big thank you for your welcome and we will come back in a few days to enjoy a meal from the bistronomic restaurant.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful architecture in a private mansion. Beautiful room. On the other hand, service not up to the standard of a so-called 5 star: welcome with a glass of water or coffee, no room service in the evening: room not prepared, dirty dishes not cleared, etc… this is a shame for a 5 stars !!!! Never seen this anywhere else! Decent breakfast, not at the level of a five star either

Un-believe-able! If you thought Hotels are all a bit meh, the same cloned mega chains that are filled with plastic people with no real world experience, who feign interest and care.... Then you are in for a shock, a pleasant one. From the moment we booked (last minute due to arriving at a sub standard AirBnB) to the moment we said Au revoir each and every single interaction with the staff was a joyous experience. Nothing was too much trouble. Every little thing was attended to with care, professionalism and perfection and although rare, any mistake/misstep was precisely rectified with an unwavering pleasantness, care, humility and savoir faire. The Hotel is a testament to the owners, architects and builders who resurrected this 350yo building and transformed it into a world class 5* Hotel of just 20 rooms full of original art, sculpture, finesse, luxury and attention to detail. There are two restaurants to choose from, both are excellent value with first class food, wine and service on offer from the teams. The combination of the staff, the service levels, the building, the fitout, the food, the wines etc all make for an experience that is amazing value regardless of which of the rooms/suites we stayed in (#8 being the pinnacle). Thank you to the entire team for making our 4 night stay an absolute joy. We will be back. Bon journée et a bientôt. ❤️

This stay was booked for my husband's birthday. The staff was able to provide various attention and everything was perfect. The building, decoration and services are fabulous. We will be back and can't wait!!

Magnificent 17th century property, superbly restored. From arrival to departure, faultless professional gestures, a smile at all times, very special attention. High standard assigned room offering great bedding comfort. Spacious and bright bathroom. Our very fine meal at the Jardin des Sens, under the imposing frescoes of the vaulted ceilings, was a very pleasant moment. The choice between two tasting menus or à la carte allows you to satisfy the inspiration of the moment. The Pourcel brothers and their talented team introduced us to classic cuisine prepared with quality products and a creative touch. All our thanks to the sommelier who introduced us to a wine-food pairing of great finesse. Accept our deepest thanks.
