Spectacular completely remodeled antique with high ceilings and architectural peculiarities. Modern rooms with large comfortable bathrooms. Definitely a top Relais & chateaux worth a stop in Montpelier which is a stunning city. Vibrant and young. Only negative point is the slow internet which is unsuitable if you have to work. A gym would be nice, but that's not a bigg issue. Hotel also has a michelin star rated restaurant that this time I did not review. If you pass by montpelier definitely worth a stop.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of the historic district. The service and attention to detail belongs in the class of top-tier hotels. The rooms are well appreciated and comfortable. The hotel is beautiful and a visit to the bar is a necessity. The drinks are unique and delicious. The bar is truly one of a kind. Be sure not to miss lunch or dinner. I tried both and was rewarded with great food and quality service. This is on my list of places I must see again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates beautiful surroundings and fine cuisine. The staff were as excellent as the hotel itself. We also recommend the bar, which was both surprising and delightful.

I just went for a hot chocolate with a friend to escape the awful weather. The historical setting is magnificent; but the highlight is the bar's ceiling: two phoenixes with a snake in their talons that leave you speechless. They're made from beetle elytes! Superb colors. A warm welcome even if you only come for a hot chocolate.

14/09/2026: IMAX is a must-try...we finally managed to get tickets for The Odyssey almost two months after its release
14/09/2026: I went to see the Odyssey in 70mm IMAX, a 1.5-hour drive away. The problem is that the screen is so big that depending on where you're sitting, you can see the barriers at the bottom. Also, the film was subtitled, and the subtitle overlay in the darker scenes was really poor quality. Nice theater, but I wouldn't go back. A regular IMAX screen is enough.

21/05/2026: Still as good as ever, I also use them for professional events: buffets, breakfasts, afternoon teas, meal trays, birthday cakes. Fantastic! Plus, I just heard they're opening a new pastry shop in Montpellier. So happy, it's delicious!!! This weekend I ordered a flan ;-)
