A very safe option to eat, the price is within the range offered by other restaurants in the city, in my case I ordered menu 2 (€29.50) and a glass of white wine (€5) the starter (salmon salad smoked) very good, adequate portion, fresh, cassoulet dish with sausage and duck leg, tasty and filling, a little dry for my taste, but well prepared, cremebrulet for dessert.

The €22 menu is first, second and dessert. The first we had goat salad and it was not bad (although I have tried better) and sausage salad (the same thing). For the second entrecôte with pepper sauce and it was good and the cassolet (a typical dish from here, it didn't kill me at all. The chicken was very burnt. For desserts we both ordered the same chocolate mousse with cream (the homemade mousse was not bad but the spray cream, a negative point for the dessert. The wine was €3 a glass (acceptable). The waiters Friendly and pleasant place. In short, the food needs improvement.

We came across this restaurant and honestly, we couldn't have done better. There are several very extensive menus and we chose two different menus, which meant that the dishes were equally varied.
Here the menu:
- As starter dishes: Pan con tomato tartine and country ham and Plate of foie gras with tomato and basil jam.
- As main: Butcher's piece with homemade sauce and homemade Cassoulet and duck leg.
- As desserts: Chocolate mousse and 3 scoops of ice cream.
In addition to being in the center of Carcasonne and right opposite the Saint Nazaire Basilica, the staff is impeccable. They spoke to us in Spanish, that's why the staff was incredible. We recommend it!

It is a highly recommended place to eat in Carcassone.
Small restaurant, with few people and cozy. They have two weekend menus at a very correct price and quality and a menu. We ate two, for €25 per person and very good.

Amazing place right in the heart of Carcassonne.
Initially I thought it was a tourist trap due to it's very central location right next to the cathedral, but we were cold hungry.
To my pleasant surprise it turned out to be a lovely place , the food was tasty and authentic , portions were big and the meat was generous. Desert was amazing too .
I would suggest to get the lunch menu for 30 euro, it's great value and will leave you satisfied. The service was fast and polite , spoke English and accepted card and cash.
