Le Jardin d'été sur Quimper

Arriving without a reservation, we received a more than warm welcome! The manager on the phone kindly helped us find a parking space and offered us a superbly located table despite the crowd. The servers provided excellent advice, both on the chef's suggestions and on the wine pairings for our dishes. The Camembert cheese is more than just a present dish: it reigns supreme, encased in crispy bacon, majestically atop a bed of gratinéed buckwheat that seems to have been crafted by the gods of Auvergne themselves. Then, an origami of butternut squash surrounded by a vibrant array of colors and small vegetables—it's like being in the heart of the Mediterranean on a summer evening. The terrace with its patio immerses us in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where time seems to stand still (it reminds us of our honeymoon in Italy with my husband). As for my husband, lost in memories, he succumbed to a starter enhanced with a Parmesan cream that was enough to melt away our last inhibitions and plunge us into an explosion of sweetness. The dessert, finally, the chef's new specialty, underscored the meaning of ecstasy. With a delicacy and precision that would put even the greatest chefs to shame, its citrus note and sprinkle of crunchy texture, let me tell you, this dinner was more than just a culinary aphrodisiac! Special mention to the kitchen: Alex and Jo! To the front-of-house team: Yassine and Gwendal! Who made our experience truly timeless. We will be back.

A delightful evening at this restaurant where everything is homemade, using fresh ingredients, and the service is impeccable and friendly. It's wonderful to still find places like this, where the welcome is warm, the food delicious, all served without fuss but with genuine kindness and simplicity. And all at a reasonable price for the quality offered. We had a wonderful time at Le Jardin d'Été during our visit to Quimper.

After a hike at Pointe du Raz, we were looking for a nice restaurant on our way back and ended up at the Jardin d'été on the edge of the old town. Although it was quite busy, we were able to get a table for dinner without any problems. The service was friendly and attentive, and they took good care of us. The menu offers a good selection of different dishes. The baked goat cheese with honey as a starter was just as delicious as the chicken and sardines for the main course. To finish, we had the crème Brillen, which rounded off the meal perfectly. We had a lovely evening at the Jardin and would happily recommend the restaurant!

This is a little restaurant you absolutely must try when you're in Quimper. The service is lively and friendly, the food is delicious, and I highly recommend their French toast—a real treat!

We've been to this place several times. Half the tables are outside. The setting is quite charming. The menu offers a good selection, the dishes are very nice and quite generous. The staff is friendly. A very good place.
