To celebrate our retirement, we were treated to dinner at this restaurant we hadn't been to before. The place is warm and very intimate. Every painting, every knick-knack has its own story. We felt right at home. We had a truly delightful evening thanks to Olivier's incredibly friendly welcome and Pierre's exquisite and delicious cuisine. We left with our taste buds delighted and our heads full of wonderful memories.

There were six of us at the table and we had a remarkable gastronomic experience at Jardin Gourmand in Auxerre. The fine and inventive cuisine delighted us from start to finish, with perfectly executed dishes that were generous, elegant, and full of flavor. Special mention to Olivier Laplaine, the passionate maître d'hôtel, whose mastery of service and attention to the smallest details enhanced our meal. Thanks to him, each dish took on an extra dimension: he took us on a journey with elegance and precision, while creating a warm, fluid, and refined atmosphere. We had an exceptional dinner yesterday - one day passed and we are still ‘digesting’ the experience. The food we eat and wines we drank, leaning fully on the owner’s choices, were fabulous! I recommend to take the menu with wine pairing - the owner has so comprehensive knowledge about the food ingredients and matching wines you cannot beat so just trust him and you’ll have the maximum experience!
