An exceptional culinary experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the utmost professionalism. The service is exceptionally high-level—attentive, welcoming, and flawless down to the smallest detail. The entire three-course menu was incredibly delicious and perfectly balanced. We began with a superb foie gras starter that was a true delight for the senses. The main course—the cockerel—was uniquely flavorful, juicy, and cooked to perfection. For the culinary finale, the desserts were absolutely top-notch! Every plate is a true masterpiece. A completely well-deserved Michelin star! I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely delicious and very rich sauces. The wines proposed by the glass all perfectly matched the dishes. My only recommendation would be to reduce the size of the portions by a third: the sauces are so rich, whether fish or meat, and all portions so large, including starters and desserts, that it was difficult finishing.

A truly wonderful experience: excellent service, delicious dishes with wonderful flavors, perfectly balanced portions, and a fairly extensive wine list! A great place for a romantic dinner or a meal with friends.

We were delighted with our meal here. What great value, what beautiful and tasty food. Delicious wine. Superb staff. Perfectly attentive, but at the same time relaxed and just casual enough to help us to relax. I can honestly say that the 60 euro lunch time menu is the best that i have ever eaten. Ye, that good. My most recent meal in a Michelin starred restaurant cost 255 euros per head and it was, frankly, average at best. Here at the Kaiku however the food was wonderful. Challenging at times, but in a good way. Don't hesitate. The next time you are in Saint Jean de Luz make sure you book, and have a wonderful time. I strongly recommend that you take cash with you as you cannot tip using your card. I wanted to leave a decent tip but couldn't, for which I apologized. So take a couple of twenty euro notes to save the embarrassment!The main thing though is to get there and eat the wonderful food. It's great.
