One-star restaurant in the Michelin guide. Impeccable, warm, efficient service. The dishes are very good, fairly classic flavors (with twists that make the dishes interesting) well balanced, dishes well presented, very correct portions. The dishes are chosen with care, the bread is good. Nice selection of wines, mostly by the bottle, some wines available by the glass. We went there for lunch. Menu price a little high (EPD €55) but the location of the restaurant, in St Jean de Luz and a stone's throw from the ocean, must have something to do with it. No terrace. Delighted to have been able to discover this great restaurant!

Well, it's winter, the low season. It's normal that there aren't many people and the atmosphere isn't great. But an effort must be made on the service and on the cuisine!

Ce fut une experience très surprenante. La nourriture était de très bonne qualité, beaucoup de saveurs et une belle présentation. Merci au chef et sont équipé. Cependant, le service est devenu de pire en pire à chaque fois qu'on nous apportait un nouveau plat. Nous avons dû nous servir le vin et l’eau nous-mêmes. Le maître d'hôtel a eu la gentillesse de nous remercier pour avoir fait son travail. Sortie comme des célébrités ou sortie comme des paysans par la porte de coté, cela nous a surpris alors que tous les autres clients était sortie par la porte principale. Bon bref… Aucune demande de la parts des hôtes de comment c'était passé notre repas ou notre experience au moment de régler la facture. Le plus surprenant, était les regards vue du haut par les patrons quand nous avons commander des bières en aperitif ainsi que la bouteille de vin, ou clairement le maitre d’hotel n’était pas satisfait de notre choix. Offrez nous peut être une recommendation... Un service qui n'est clairement pas a l'hauteur d'un restaurant étoilé. Allez voir ailleurs si vous cherchez du bon service aimable.
