Le Kastel sur Benodet

Lovely place to stay. Arrived by taxi from Quimper after ferry and trains from UK. Lovely friendly staff. Swim in the salty spa pool was great. Dinner and breakfast superb. We set off along the GR 34 fully rested! Right by a beautiful beach.

Hotel near the beach, 3 stars but it's a 13 🌟 + attentive staff who meet every possible expectation... Newspaper, umbrella 🌂, delicious breakfast, mint water 🍋, information and advice in the lobby, etc... Premium room with sea view, washing machine ☕, what more could you want? TV, bathtub, quiet space and more... a stay for 2, 5 minutes from the Thalasso spa. Thank you to the entire Kastel team who rise to every challenge 😄

The beachfront location is fantastic. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated. The sea view is lovely. The breakfast is very complete and delicious. The staff is attentive. We had a pleasant 3-night weekend which allowed us to visit the beautiful South Finistère region. The spa is not located in the same building as the hotel (less than 100 meters away). The pool doesn't open to the outside, giving it a small feel. It's a bit dated (few jets...). The sauna is very good. If I had to compare it to other Relais Thalasso establishments, this one falls short (probably due to its 3 stars compared to the 4 stars of the Château des Tourelles in Pornichet).

Magnificent hotel with an ideal location right on the seafront. Very nice room with a beach view. The hotel is tastefully decorated. The welcome is warm. The breakfast is fresh and plentiful. Restaurants, the casino, the ice cream parlor, souvenir shops—everything is nearby.

5 stars without hesitation. The welcome is top-notch. The rooms are spacious with sea views. The restaurant offers a varied and high-quality menu, and especially a daily special. Enjoy the local products without restraint: pollack, whelks, ice cream, strawberries, yogurt... Ask for Marc; he's full of good advice.

We stayed one night at the Hotel Kastel. Cyril at reception provided an excellent welcome, both on the phone and in person. This gentleman is there to take care of you, and it shows: extraordinary! :) The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The pleasure continued in the restaurant with Marc and Mustafa. A lovely duo, both very attentive and discreet. The meal met our expectations.

What can I say? Absolutely remarkable in every way for a 3-star hotel. The welcome, the room, the food, the thalassotherapy, the sea view... Simply thank you! ☺️
