We had a very tasty and down-to-earth meal there... The set menu and the galette. Both were delicious and the portions were generous. The service was very friendly.

The food was fantastic! However, the service was a minor issue: it was good, there was no wait, but perhaps a little too fast. We barely had time to enjoy an aperitif or chat before the main course arrived, which meant the wine we had ordered to accompany the meal was out of sync. We asked the waitress about it and paused our meal; otherwise, we would have received the wine only after we had finished eating.

I came to discover the local cuisine of Saint-Malo and... what a revelation! When seafood is fresh and cooked in a way that brings out all its flavors, you get the dishes at Kidygwen. The value for money is more than reasonable, and you can go there without hesitation. You'll be welcomed warmly and have a wonderful dining experience.

We just dined there two nights in a row to sample different dishes from the menu and left delighted. The chef's dishes are delicious and the welcome from his wife in the dining room is very warm. A must-try in Saint-Malo.

27/08/2026: Despite a tedious booking process (confirmation and re-confirmation) and a barely polite welcome from the woman we believe to be the owner, who didn't exactly make us feel welcome, we had a very enjoyable meal. The sweetbreads and the grilled turbot were excellent, as were the scallop ravioli, which deserved a few more bites to fully appreciate their flavor.
26/08/2026: The staff and the place are very charming; the terrace is worth a visit when the weather permits. I'll definitely be back!

19/09/2026: No matter what you order, you can't go wrong here. Excellent galettes and crepes. They also make very good coffee and other beverages.
14/09/2026: Excellent crêpes made with local ingredients. Homemade almond cream and salted caramel.
