A great restaurant for those who hesitate to step through the door: I strongly encourage you to do so! Very good meal with quality food and a great welcome from Karine and her husband. They are two beautiful people who love their job! I highly recommend!

Authentic cuisine and quality dishes! Always meat and fish (cooking always respected AND controlled). We go there very regularly and have never been disappointed. A special mention for the sauces! The owners are generous, welcoming and caring! I recommend!

A 10 minutes du mémorial , arrêtez-vous absolument dans ce restaurant! Peut-être d’un look plutôt classique, la cuisine est assurément engagée côté fraîcheur et qualité! Petits légumes frais, terrines maisons, pain frais et que dire des desserts!! Vraie tarte au citron( cela faisait tellement longtemps que je n’en avais pas mangé de telle!); service impeccable avec le sourire et le chef cuisto est même venu nous demander notre impression tout en aidant la patronne pour desservir à la fin du repas! Bravo por cet état d’esprit! Prix très abordables ce qui est rare de nos jours! Merci beaucoup!

Nous avons suivi les avis et réservé un déjeuner entre amis. C'était au delà de nos espérances! Super accueil des deux patrons et excellent repas avec des produits du terroir. Le chef en véritable passionné de la cuisine traditionnelle est venu discuter à la fin du service. Bref une adresse à retenir et à divulger sans modération.

27/09/2024: Good morning Thank you for this great time spent in your establishment. We stopped by on September 25 for dinner. Dishes carefully presented and very tasty. A thank you to the chef who takes the time to remove the skin and seeds from the tomatoes for a starter full of flavor. Excellent value for money An essential address.

07/09/2024: La carte est restreinte mais les plats sont maîtrisés. Le dîner se passera dans un cadre fabuleux : authentique maison Caenaise d'avant guerre. Pensez à réserver car le lieu est petit. Privilégiez la table avec la fenêtre.
06/09/2024: (Veggie review) Great location, just off the busy Pl. St. Sauveur. Welcoming service, olives on the table while we ordered. Helpful that the owner speaks English. Two vegetarian entrees was an excellent start - oeuf cocotte and fricassee d'artichauts (not asperges as on the menu). Both really delicious. Then the standout dish of our week in Caen - the 'beautiful vegetarian plate'. It was really was beautiful to look at and to taste. We shared so there would be room for dessert - on one evening the raspberry 'soup' and lemon sorbet, and second time the heavenly chocolate mousse-type cake. We had lots of good food in Caen but this was the best. About 47EUR (40GBP) for two of us with a small drink (lovely dry cider, and apple juice second time).
