Overall, a good restaurant. However, the quality and especially the quantity have declined since the change of ownership, while the prices remain relatively high. Hopefully, this will change.

Excellent welcome. They were very accommodating and offered alternative dishes when I mentioned allergies. The food is homemade and tastes good. Given the online reviews, I might have expected a more polished presentation. But I would still be willing to return.

The service was unrivaled and the food was amazing. We drove from Caen searching something to eat and found the hidden gem. The Fricassé de Boeuf and the desserts were fantastic. We don't have pictures because ate the whole thing super fast.

The food is truly homemade, delicious, and bursting with flavor 👍👍👍, all at an affordable price. The owner and chef are very welcoming. I highly recommend it and will gladly return. They also offer takeout and evening service (new since April 2026).

We went there last night, it was our first time since the change of ownership, and we certainly weren't disappointed. We had a superb meal. The cuisine was refined, and the chef, who also happens to be the owner, is very professional! This restaurant deserves to be better known! Keep up the good work, it's fantastic! We'll definitely be back.

Four adults and two children ate there, and we all loved it! So delicious! The service was great: quick and friendly. A very good place: fresh and tasty.

We had dinner at Kikalou with friends, a very good experience at this restaurant which has recently changed management. The chef and waitress were very friendly, and the food was good. A great place to eat in Caen near the memorial! It's nice to have a restaurant open in the evening in the Folie-Couvrechef area.

Excellent food 👍. A generous portion 🍽️. Sunny terrace and a large indoor dining area. This is my second visit and I'll definitely be back 😁.
