A real favorite! The Kilarney pub in Besançon is a must-visit for lovers of good beer and whiskey. The atmosphere is warm, the staff incredibly welcoming, and you immediately feel at home. The menu is impressive: a wide selection of draft beers, bottles, and a selection of whiskeys that will delight connoisseurs and the curious alike. The real plus? The team's expert advice. You can trust them completely: they take the time to understand your tastes and will always offer you a wonderful discovery. Whether it's for an evening with friends, an after-work event, or simply for the pleasure of enjoying a good drink in a friendly setting, this is the perfect place. I recommend it without hesitation!

Maybe I didn't go on the right day... The waitresses were very friendly, but the food (fish & chips) was really not good, very dry, overcooked. Good selection of beers, but still €10.30 a pint. The decor is almost nonexistent compared to what makes Irish pubs so charming. Too bad. ******* Update July 2025: I don't like to rely on first impressions. I came back to Kilarney Pub, and I'm glad I did! The waiter (with a beard) is knowledgeable about the products and friendly. The fish was tasty and cooked al dente. I'm following up on the manager's response: yes, there are beers starting at €6. Please excuse my initial negative comment. However, I would like to make a comment about the atmosphere. Admittedly, the decor isn't non-existent as I mentioned, but hey, it's not fantastic either... Perhaps less white, more cozy lighting could help. So, in short, I did go on a bad day, this second visit was very good. Good luck at Kilarney.
