We are four people from Fréjus in the south of France who made the round trip to Strasbourg in 24 hours to pick up a vehicle. By 9 pm, no one else wanted to serve us except Rose. A huge thank you to her and the entire team. It was the best sauerkraut I've ever eaten. Thank you!

The welcome and meal were excellent, the staff were kind and attentive – nothing but positive things to say. I highly recommend this establishment. It's close to Strasbourg train station.
Don't hesitate.

On our train journeys from the Baltic Sea to the South of France and back, we often stop in Strasbourg and always look forward to eating and drinking at Le Kuhn. The staff are always attentive, and even if we haven't made a reservation (or the train is delayed), they always manage to find us a table after a short wait. Everything tastes great, whether it's the tarte flambée (they're all really delicious!), a fish or meat dish from the daily specials, or a dessert. So far, we've also always been able to get a good wine at reasonable prices (including organic wines).

Not far from the main train station and our hotel, on a small street, you'll find the restaurant. We hadn't made a reservation and arrived around 7:00 pm – lucky us!
We received a very friendly welcome and were given a well-located table, neither by the restroom nor near the door. New guests entered the restaurant gradually and waited patiently in the entrance area. Everyone was quickly and warmly greeted and shown to their table – a lovely touch. No one rushed to tables uninvited, as is common in Germany!
We were surprised to receive a German menu – fantastic! :-) Like perfect hosts, they very kindly pointed out the additional options. Thank you for that.
It had been about 40-45 years since I last ate snails, so we ordered main courses: beef fillet Rossini and entrecote, and for dessert, white nougat ice cream.
The restaurant gradually filled up, and for our next visit, we will definitely make a reservation (we also did it online)!
... Snails: Great products and superb herb butter (homemade with fresh herbs!), served with a (unfortunately very cold) baguette. Despite the bread, 5 points!
Main courses: Entrecote and beef fillet were cooked to perfection and deliciously seasoned. Vegetables were well-seasoned and al dente, homemade fries. Everything was excellent; the chef clearly knows his craft!
The highlight was my sauce with Rossini: wonderfully smooth, very well-seasoned, no trace of convenience food, pure handcraft!
Dessert: White nougat ice cream, doesn't need a vanilla bean but a more intense nougat flavor.
Overall, a very positive experience, excellent and meticulous craftsmanship. Compliments to the kitchen!
Highly recommended, and we'll be back!

We were passing through Strasbourg and this restaurant was recommended to us.
As a result, we ate there three times in two days.
And each time it was a delight. Absolutely flawless.
The sauerkraut was hearty and delicious.
The tarte flambée was excellent.
The beef fillet was exquisite.
The desserts were just as good.
In short, I can only recommend this establishment, which will definitely be on my list of places to stop on my next visit to the city.
Special mention to Dorian and Éllie, the fantastic waiters/waitresses who take such good care of the customers. Thank you to them and thank you to the kitchen for the wonderful meal.
Remember to book in advance; it's essential if you want to be sure of getting a table.

An unassuming restaurant that cleverly hides its true nature from the outside. The food, service, quality, price, wine, and ambiance all work together perfectly. You leave feeling satisfied, full, not broke, and with a warm feeling in your heart.
