Beautiful place, but avoid doing any other walks besides the one around the lake; the paths are not well marked and pass through summer pastures, so dogs are prohibited.
Always a pleasure to walk around and around the lake! The water is a sublime color. Hardly anyone there at this time of year, especially on a mid-September weekday. Trout and squirrels to watch.
A lovely lake, perfect for a short hike around (1 hour). One section is a bit rocky, but otherwise the whole loop is easy.

Parking spaces are located both uphill and downhill from the road. This makes it rather difficult to get a clear view of the remaining spaces, as it's a one-way road.

We parked above the parking lot because there's a steep incline along the road.
The ride took about an hour with a bike and stroller. There are a few rough sections with roots and rocks, but it's manageable if an adult carries the bike or stroller. The ride goes by very quickly given the varied scenery and the children being so entertained.
Tip: start on the right side of the path with the cow statue with horns as you approach the lake.
