Nice and friendly service and great food at a reasonable price. We sat on the terrace, though there was some noise from tough guys on motorcycles. We had a delicious meal!

We will long cherish the memory of our first visit to this restaurant. The decor is fabulous, evoking the era of the great Lamartine, but also bringing us back to our own time. The welcome was excellent, the cuisine delicious and refined, a pleasure not only to eat but also to see when the plates arrived – very impressive. We truly had an excellent meal, and the €25.80 set menu is truly excellent value for money.

While passing through Macon, we had a lovely dinner at Le Lamartin restaurant, and the €25.80 set menu (starter, main course, dessert) was perfect. All the dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and served with a smile. Thank you to the kind waiter who took the time to take a nice photo of us.

An excellent restaurant in Mâcon! I ate there twice during my stay and it was incredible both times. The dishes were delicious and full of flavor. Special mention to the Moroccan gentleman who works there; he's lovely, very welcoming, and genuinely kind—he made the experience even better. You immediately feel comfortable and well taken care of. Honestly, I loved it; everything was perfect. I highly recommend it.

A Sunday on the road... a stop in Mâcon... Looking for a good restaurant? NOTHING EXCEPT... Le Lamartine (The other places along the quayside are awful) This is a place that truly deserves a much better rating than what you find online. A fantastic welcome, lovely decor, efficient and attentive service, and delicious dishes just the way we like them. We loved the vol-au-vent. In short, a restaurant is best discovered beyond the reviews... We'll be back.

27/01/2026: We had a wonderful time at the home of this true wine enthusiast. We each ordered a different glass of wine, which he recommended based on our preferences. Absolutely perfect. The accompanying cheese board was excellent. Thank you for this experience.

01/07/2026: We shared a meal with colleagues; there were eight of us, and we were very well seated and welcomed. Everyone could easily chat. The meal itself was excellent, no complaints whatsoever.
24/06/2026: The location is fantastic; we hadn't expected this when we drove there. We ate outside on the terrace. With a view of the river. The existing trees provided sufficient shade. Additionally, parasols had been placed to protect against the strong sun. The service was more than friendly and very professional. The food, 3 courses and coffee to finish, was more than excellent. Many a restaurant in the Netherlands cannot match this. The final surprise of the bill. Here, too, no good restaurant in the Netherlands can come close. So the aftertaste was made even better by it.
