Le Latin sur Paris

We came across this little restaurant whilst walking around discovering the area and decided to give it a go after the owner encouraged us to look at the menu and we liked what we saw. The restaurant was small and cozy but as the weather was warm we sat outside looking out onto the alley. The owner gave us a free drink whilst we looked at the menu, we are not very good at speaking in French so he explained in English that there were two set menus that were very very reasonable once we looked at the prices separately, he was very friendly and patient. We chose the set menu for 16 euros 90 per person which was unbelievably a three course meal! We both chose the vegetable soup which was very nicely flavoured with lots of coriander, my husband had steak and I the salmon which were both very good then for dessert the crème brûlée and chocolate mousse, we had a carafe of wine as well and the whole bill was a fraction of the price of other restaurants we visited in Paris and it was the best food we had by far over our whole visit so would definitely recommend and hope to visit again one day.

Restaurant traditionnel avec d'excellents produits, pourtant situé dans un quartier "d'attrape touriste" où le seul but est de faire du profit en vendant de produits basiques et sans saveurs. Momo a su nous recevoir avec beaucoup de convivialité et nous avons passé non seulement un excellent moment, mais nous avons dégusté des produits de grande qualité du menu à 24,90€ ce qui n'est pas cher pour Paris et en comparaison avec les autres établissements, le restaurant se situe dans une bonne fourchette de prix. Nous avons aimé manger en terrasse et Momo à lui seul est un personnage attachant avec son accent, son béret et sa gentillesse. L'adresse est pour nous retenue pour un prochain passage à Paris. Ne surtout rien changer vous êtes pour nous le restaurant numéro 1 de ce quartier aux établissements généralement sans saveurs. Bravo et à une prochaine fois.
