Homemade burger! What can I say! Perfectly cooked, cheese melted evenly both in the bun and in the burger (I had the Montagnard burger). For those with a sweet tooth, I highly recommend it! Thank you for the warm welcome!

We had a wonderful family time at this restaurant! The welcome was warm, the retro decor beautiful and original (it might not be to everyone's taste, but it's elegant and takes you back in time), the atmosphere and music were relaxing, and the food was delicious and homemade! The burgers were generous and fantastic! My son dropped his Schweppes citrus drink, and he really made a mess. The owner came over and cleaned everything up, making us feel very comfortable, and even brought us another Schweppes citrus drink without us even asking. I'll definitely be back to eat upstairs in the summer to check out the dining room and enjoy a burger! 🤪

Nice restaurant, friendly owner, and efficient service. Good bistro-style dishes, and you can tell they're homemade. A good time. (4 stars because I rarely give 5 stars)

Passing through Angoulême, we stopped at this little restaurant. The food is excellent, the decor is beautiful, and the owners are very friendly! I highly recommend it.

29/04/2026: We had a pleasant time and a very satisfying meal; however, we could have done without the owner's very unpleasant remarks during payment and when splitting the bill. We didn't receive an invoice or a receipt. A rather old-fashioned way of doing things!
12/04/2026: Rustic restaurant, lovely atmosphere with a fireplace. Thanks to the chef, excellent cuisine, the tomato tartare as a starter was very good and very fresh. The rib-eye steak and lamb chops were flavorful and tender, perfectly seasoned and cooked. The homemade fries were very good. The desserts were delicious. A great evening, thank you to the restaurant team.
