I have rarely eaten so well in a restaurant! Small, cozy room, the entire meal really excellent, the service top notch! I went there completely at random and came away with taste memories that I won't forget. I will come back with great pleasure to taste the rest of the menu 😋 Hats off to the whole team 👏

Very nice discovery, we loved the cozy atmosphere and the very tasty cuisine! The decor and the service are also top notch. Very well located in Lille, we highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

La Vieille Assiette

30/03/2024: A delight ! Very warm welcome in an estaminet setting. Divine Flemish stew and equally excellent American fillet. Served generously and quickly. Room a bit small and noisy when there are people, but it's difficult to push the walls :-) We've been here several times already and it's our favorite restaurant. You can go there with your eyes closed. Remember to book!
22/03/2024: La Vieille Assiette is exactly everything an estaminet should be. The dishes are really excellent (we tasted the welsh, the chti burger, the carbonnade, the Marengo veal, the pork cheek) and were unanimously appreciated by the table. The welcome and service are friendly and pleasant, and the decor is typical without being "too much". We feel really good: at home if we come from the region, and welcomed if we discover it. We leave in a good mood and with a full stomach. Thank you, we will come back, for sure! Edit: We've come back plenty of times and we'll come back again.

04/04/2024: The 3 dishes of the Menu Gourmand were truly delicious. Both traditional and creative, tasty, generous and beautifully presented. Special mention for the “Rhubarb Variation” dessert which is rarely found on a menu. Smiling and fast staff. Several different rooms, pleasant and bright surroundings. A good address.
