This was our favourite restaurant in Bordeaux! We had delicious food and excellent wines. We would have returned for a dinner if we had time.

Surprisingly busy on a Monday evening. They do seem to close Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Smallish restaurant, just off the main square, on Rue Bouquière. Nice selection of starters, the prawns and canellis both freshly done, the latter a trio of what amounted to spinach soufflés done in small cylindrical, flanged pots. There was a meat and vegetarian option, includingbthe "chef's mood". The dorade (sea bream) was piping hot and very tasty, if perhaps a bit dry and overdone. Nice selection of desserts. They had local draught beer and a wide selection of other beverages, including wine by the glass or bottle. The two waitresses were delightful, and the service excellent.

Lovely little restaurant in the street, tucked away from the business of the square. Lovely food and a big thank you to the friendly and helpful waitress Constance who served us!

We have been drinking a Bordeaux and a “revisited” Spritz with very delicious local ingredients and we have tried the delicious grilled camember with honey, good service

Beyond the nice and welcoming place and the friendly service guys, there were some sore points, such as the cooking of the fish which in some places was raw and, above all, the cocktail that I received, because the glass was half empty

20/08/2024: Based on the reputation of the place, I expected a lot more in terms of the menu and the flavors. To begin with, the price of brunch is overrated compared to what is served. I ordered the classic savory pancake with Hollandaise sauce, but found the sauce lacking in flavor and also insufficiently salty. The training leaves something to be desired. The ambiance is pleasant and air-conditioned, and the service was quick, but on the other hand, I felt a lack of enthusiasm regarding the information provided about the card.
17/08/2024: Having discovered and enjoyed The Snack last year, I decided to bring my little sister there. The server was pleasant, as was the atmosphere in the room. The pancakes are really fluffy and accompanied by good products. The toppings offered are more or less original; I recommend the Provencal pancake (goat cheese, candied tomatoes, chorizo)!
