The best Chinese restaurant in the 12th arrondissement! Everything is made fresh with quality ingredients! And the staff is incredibly friendly. A must-try!

Seated at a table with several people, I had the pleasure of trying several appetizers and main courses. Simply put, everything was absolutely magnificent. From the dim sum to the dumplings, including the bo bun and the caramel pork. But a special mention goes to the sumptuous five-spice duck, which was utterly divine. Thank you.

A very nice restaurant with very friendly staff. The food was good, but considering the price, I expected it to be much tastier and different from other inexpensive restaurants. €43 for two dishes and a grenadine (€4.50 for syrup and lukewarm tap water) seems expensive. And there were very few shrimp in the curry (they were rubbery) despite paying an extra €3.

Always excellent. It had been two years since our last visit. A very pleasant reunion, and we were able to enjoy our favorite dishes, including the steamed assortment, for which I still haven't found anything comparable. Our friends also enjoyed it. This time we won't wait two years to come back.

Long ago, there was a restaurant called Hong Yun. It was a very good restaurant, where my family went at least once a month (sometimes weekly), and where I developed my love for Asian cuisine. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end, and after a change of ownership, the quality of the food plummeted to an abysmal level. Today, it's an all-you-can-eat restaurant with a partially dilapidated facade. For years, I've been searching for a Chinese restaurant that's as good, and I've finally found it with the Golden Lily. With the menu of the same name, I've enjoyed Chinese food like I haven't had in over 20 years. The shrimp ravioli were substantial and flavorful (be warned, the spicy sauce is no joke!), the basil chicken stir-fried brought back delicious childhood memories with the addition of crisp vegetables, and the steamed coconut balls provided a sweet and satisfying conclusion to my Proustian moment. At €25.90, it's a bit more expensive than I usually pay, but the quality is well worth it. I will definitely return with pleasure. I might also get some dim sum to go, as I haven't had any this good in a long time. The service was impeccable and the decor was very green, but be careful as you might get hit in the head by a plant or the entrance awning. Remember to duck. The final verdict is a 9 out of 10.
