We had lunch in this establishment on Sunday August 18, and we were seduced by the quality of this establishment. The service is attentive, the dishes are perfectly prepared, the pace of the service is coordinated and with good timing. The cuisine is excellent and the tastes are perfect, we chose the "gourmet" menu. We congratulate all the staff and we recommend this establishment.

Very good, pleasant restaurant in summer with its terrace overlooking the castle and protected by shaded trees! The service is impeccable and the food good. The flavor menu at 45 euros is correct with starter, main courses, cheese and dessert! To recommend.

Personnel accueillant et très efficace. Excellent !!! Plats raffinés, délicieux et produits de qualité. . Lisette , foie gras et poireaux ; confit de canard avec pommes de terre de Noirmoutiers , assiette de fromage et Ile flottante . Fait maison… le tout accompagné d’un très bon vin " Côtes de Gascogne " . Deus salles très agréables , pour nous , agacé vue sur la Château. Cadre parfait , nous étions quand même 80 personnes dans le cadre d’une excursion de la journée… Un délice !!!

01/12/2025: I'm leaving out the fifth star for the food, which I haven't had a chance to try yet, but the steak frites with mushroom sauce whetted my appetite this weekend. I stuck to coffee and the PMU (betting shop), and it was really great. These bars/brasseries/PMUs should be listed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage! Unfortunately, they tend to disappear in favor of cold, phony concepts. Strong support to the Café du Château.
05/11/2025: Excellent little brasserie. Quality cuisine, efficient and friendly service. Very good value for money.
