We ate at this restaurant and it's definitely a must-try in the Dordogne! Everything is delicious and the staff are just as wonderful! We had a marvelous time, and frankly, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

We stopped by chance and what a pleasant surprise! The setting is exceptional; we had lunch in the shade on the lovely terrace. The manager welcomed us and our two dogs very warmly 😉. As for the food, it was very good, with generous portions of local cuisine. A place we highly recommend! We'll be back!

I had a very good meal and was able to choose a dish that met my dietary restrictions. I deducted one star because of a waiter who decided I had to wait. Once, it was for my cheese, which was ready, but he served all the other tables before his colleague brought it to me instead. Another time, I waited more than five minutes at the counter to pay while he chatted and made jokes. It was thanks to his colleague, who happened to be passing by, that my wait ended, and I was finally able to pay and leave. It was only when he saw me leaving that the waiter stopped talking to urgently ask his colleague if I had paid. I would go back because the food is good, despite the price being between €30 and €40 for an enhanced salad, a dessert, and a glass of wine. Parking is available across the street.

We stayed for nine days at La Ferme de Maraval, just the two of us. The house was peaceful and clean, the spa was easily accessible, our car was parked safely, and there was air conditioning for the few warm evenings – everything was perfect. We especially loved the thoughtful touches from our hosts, Pedro's humor, and Michael's joie de vivre. Special mention goes to the restaurant, whose shaded courtyard and delicious dishes delighted us.

A perfect stay in the Dordogne – highly recommended! I spent wonderful and incredibly relaxing days here. The accommodation is perfectly located for easily exploring the many sights of the Dordogne. The owners are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and welcoming – it was even a very pleasant surprise to be able to speak German with the owner! Room & Cleanliness: My room was spotless. It's actually one of the few accommodations where there wasn't a single trace of mold in the shower – a huge thank you for that! Everything worked perfectly, too: a great-cooling air conditioner and a fully functional blind on the skylight. Garden & Atmosphere: The garden offers plenty of cozy seating areas scattered throughout, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. A charming highlight was the rolling chicken that strolled through the garden. Food: Even during the day, a wonderful aroma wafted from the kitchen. The salad with offal was absolutely delicious! Breakfast was typically French with fantastic, very tasty jam – I'll really miss it. Even though I'm not much of an eater these days and usually just have some fruit or vegetables, I really enjoyed the food here. In short: I was able to relax wonderfully and felt completely at ease. The only thing I would have liked to add would have been a small pool. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come back. Chambre & Proprété: My room has an impeccable property. C'est en fait l'un des rares hébergements où il n'y avait aucune trace de moisissure dans la douche – a grand merci pour cela! On the plan technique also, the function is parfaitement: an air conditioning efficace and a store de velux totalement fonctionnel. Garden & Ambiance: In the garden, plusieurs coins assises très agréables permetettent de se détendre et de profiter du calme. A charming moment when you see the people walking along the garden. Restoration: Dans la journée, de délicieuses odeurs s'échappaient déjà de la cuisine. The salade de gésiers/abats is absolutely delicious! The small déjeuner is typically French, with a fantastique jam and succulent – ​​it's all available to me. This means that there is a lot of food plus a huge amount of food and that I am content with so much fruit and vegetables, which I can easily apprehend from the repas. Conclusion: J'ai pu me reposer à merveille et je me suis senti vraiment bien tout au long de mon séjour. La seule chose that you also have souhaitée en plus, it's a small pool. Spectacular! One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Good value for money. The food is perfect and so is the service!
