A perfect stay in the heart of the Périgord Noir!
If you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing place to recharge, La Ferme de Maraval is the ideal spot. The immersion in the region is total!
A huge thank you to our hosts, Pedro and Michaël, for their incredibly warm welcome. They are amazingly kind, always ready with great advice for exploring the surrounding area, and above all, possess an unfailing sense of humor.
Special mention for the restaurant where we truly enjoyed a delicious meal! And a special shout-out to Pedro for his very "personal" Cuba Libre recipe…!
A precious place where you feel at home from the very first minute. One thing is for sure: we will be back with immense pleasure!

A farm inn where local produce is expertly prepared. A shaded terrace under a magnificent plane tree is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious lunch with family. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and Pedro takes excellent care of his guests. A must-visit in the beautiful Périgord region!

We had lunch as a family; the portions were quite generous and prepared with quality ingredients. The waiter was very friendly and welcoming, and we were made to feel very welcome despite being 20 minutes late. The terrace is also lovely, shaded by a magnificent plane tree. In short, a great place to eat.

Review
We had a wonderful time at La Ferme de Maraval. The meal was excellent and the setting truly lovely. The waiter was also very friendly, attentive, and professional.
However, we unfortunately sensed some tension in the kitchen. The chef seemed rather unfriendly in his manner with the customers, sometimes making remarks and using a tone that bordered on rudeness. This is a shame, as it contrasts sharply with the quality of the meal and the very warm welcome from the waiter.
A great place nonetheless, but a warmer and more respectful attitude towards customers would have truly made the experience perfect.
