A quiet day with few customers and little atmosphere. The quality of the andouillettes and frozen fries was acceptable, but lacking that extra something. The crème brûlée, worthy of a gourmet café dessert, was nothing special. Really nothing to write home about, and the glass of wine (with the rib-eye steak) didn't improve the experience.

A wonderful discovery! It had been a long time since I'd been back to Angoulême. A great place that's not in the city center, but still easily accessible. In short, excellent meat, a great atmosphere, homemade fries... I was completely full by the end of my meal, and the price was reasonable! I had the 450-gram Charolais ribeye steak! You can go there without hesitation!

We arrived at 12 pm and were still admitted. I want to thank the manager and his team for the excellent service. They were fantastic! They were all smiles from beginning to end, despite a busy evening. The meal was excellent, the meat was cooked to perfection! The homemade fries were delicious. The desserts were also very good. I highly recommend going there if you're looking for a good restaurant in Angoulême. Thank you again.

While passing through Angoulême, we had lunch at the restaurant "Le Marquant City." The atmosphere was warm and the service very professional, with staff attentive to customers. Everything was perfect. I particularly recommend the beef carpaccio with its camembert cooked in embers—a truly wonderful and indulgent combination. The carpaccio is carved in front of the customer by the chef. A must-try!

We had lunch at this restaurant for the first time. The warmth of the wood fire was wonderful in December. The atmosphere and the staff were welcoming. As for the food, it was generous and delicious. We highly recommend this little restaurant. Thank you to the team! See you soon!

Super fresh, seasonal produce, very generous portions, and especially the discovery of things like cognac cocktails, etc. ... We'll definitely be back, and it's excellent value for money. 30/01/2026: A culinary gem! Incredibly delicious food (be warned, it's highly addictive), a warm and friendly atmosphere, and a fantastic owner/waiter: friendly, professional, and always smiling. It's clearly the perfect place for epicureans, food lovers, gourmets, and wine connoisseurs… In short, for anyone who truly loves good food. I'll be back—and probably sooner than expected (with "Dad")!
