The woman taking reservations by phone needs to be told to write them in the register. Otherwise, everything was fine, thank you.

The food is excellent, the service perfect.

The food was very good and the portions generous, but the tables were too small and cramped. The staff wasn't always very friendly, especially at reception. The dining rooms were noisy.

Congratulations...from beginning to end! We were indeed warmly welcomed with genuine smiles in a truly idyllic and authentic setting. The atmosphere was delightfully old-fashioned, and the service was modern, highly efficient, and topped off with a touch of humor! As for the cuisine...a delicious masterpiece, the quantity of which was matched only by the undeniable quality...bravo to the entire team and thank you again for making our experience so enjoyable. An exceptional traditional Alsatian restaurant. A huge thank you to Anita, our waitress, who delighted us all evening. The braised ham hock was excellent. Le Marronnier is an experience not to be missed…

We had a great time, with Anita being very friendly as our server.

A restaurant I've known for many years, never disappointed. Very good tarte flambée and good quality Alsatian cuisine. However, the service tonight was not up to par: a waitress at the back of the restaurant who was bossy from the start, perhaps thinking she was being funny, but in the end it was clumsy and sometimes inappropriate. For example, when some people said they were having coffee, she replied that they had to order dessert first, and that "nothing, thank you" wasn't on the menu. The bill was brought to us without us asking for it, even though the restaurant was still half full and desserts hadn't been served yet; it was clumsy, a veiled insult? There was an awkward atmosphere at the table. Even her "see you soon" seemed like an order! It's better to laugh about it... but it wasn't pleasant. 4 stars for the other evenings when I had a good time there.
