You absolutely must stop at this bakery if you pass through the Monplaisir district. It is located at the corner of rue Maryse Bastie and Boulevard Jean 23. On the one hand they are open very often, including weekends and on the other hand we are welcomed by the smile of the waitress and the kindness of her husband in the afternoon. Everything is excellent about this place. It’s a real taste discovery. I recommend the pistachio macaroon. It's to die for! In fact, I had a hard time getting over it! The special breads (wholemeal, cereal, rye) are delicious. Everything is homemade! There are lunch options that are very useful for students at midday or to eat on the go. Finally, I also enjoy going for a simple coffee. In short, it's great! You can go there with your eyes closed! I still recommend that you open them carefully as the choice and quality of the products are exceptional.
