We were primarily looking for a peaceful getaway, a moment of escape to recharge in an authentic setting, surrounded by nature, that was both elegant, welcoming, and simple. Thanks to our reservation, we discovered Le Mas de Peint, which we had never heard of before, and it was a wonderful surprise.
From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty of the estate. Everything is perfectly maintained, impeccably clean, with remarkable attention to detail. We were also fortunate enough to be upgraded, a thoughtful touch that we greatly appreciated.
The warm welcome from all the staff deserves special mention: reception, housekeeping, breakfast service, poolside team… everyone demonstrates exemplary kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism.
Breakfast, enjoyed in the shade of the delicately scented jasmine, was a truly delightful experience. As for the swimming pool, it's simply exceptional: pleasant, soft water, high-quality sun loungers, plenty of shaded and sunny spots to suit every preference, all in an absolutely serene setting.
We also had the pleasure of enjoying a magnificent horseback ride with Océane. An unforgettable experience in the heart of the Camargue, through fields, among bulls, with breathtaking scenery. We saw flamingos, discovered the richness of this exceptional region, and experienced a truly timeless moment.
Le Mas de Peint offered us much more than just a hotel room: a genuine escape to happiness and relaxation in a magical setting.
A huge thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome and professionalism.
We recommend this establishment without hesitation and will return with immense pleasure.
An exceptional place that truly deserves to be known and recognized. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mas de Peint is an absolutely magnificent place, where everything invites calm and relaxation. The estate is remarkably well-maintained, every detail is carefully considered, contributing to a peaceful and authentic atmosphere.
But special mention must undoubtedly go to the cuisine and its chef, Dan Rodrigues, who has recently taken over the reins. From the very first courses, one senses his passion, his commitment, and his desire to offer a unique experience. We were particularly impressed by the work done around the kitchen garden, developed to showcase local produce grown on-site or nearby.
This approach is fully reflected on the plate: creative, sincere, refined, and perfectly executed cuisine, where each ingredient is enhanced with precision. A huge congratulations to the entire team, and especially to the chef, for this magical moment that we will cherish forever.

A Sensational Surprise Concept in the Camargue
I have to admit: When we headed to Le Mas de Peint on Tuesday (June 9th), I was a classic party pooper. A set menu? Completely without choices? For someone who likes to maintain culinary control at the table, that initially sounded like gentle coercion. So, I reluctantly let myself be persuaded – and I've rarely been so charmingly proven wrong.
What the team conjures up here is simply phenomenal. The food was absolutely exquisite, the service as attentive as it was warm, and the ambiance exudes such an elegant, calming charm that any skepticism vanished with the amuse-bouche. When a chef manages to make you perceive the absence of a menu not as a limitation, but as a liberation, that's true art.
We were so impressed that we immediately threw our principles overboard and booked again for the following Thursday. And lo and behold: The daily changing menu was once again an absolute sensation.
In short: Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Mas de Peint has converted me. An absolute must!

Le Mas de Peint is a unique and beautiful property. The quality of the materials, furnishings, lighting, and overall design is exceptional, creating the feeling of staying in an elegant private home rather than a traditional hotel. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay, and we especially appreciated Elise’s responsiveness and hospitality.
What makes the following few points particularly disappointing is that the property itself has all the ingredients of an exceptional stay. Unfortunately, a handful of operational and guest experience issues prevented it from fully matching the impression created by the setting, design, and reputation of the hotel.
The biggest issue was the room temperature. During our stay, outdoor temperatures were around 30°C which is fairly normal in the summertime, and despite confirming with staff that the air conditioning was operating correctly and allowing ample time for cooling, neither of the two rooms we stayed in was able to reach a comfortable sleeping temperature. We were not expecting an ice-cold room, but neither room ever became comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. The staff were helpful and moved us after the first night, but unfortunately the second room had the same issue. As a result, we did not sleep well on either night.
Breakfast was another surprise. While the products (bread, yogurt, meats and cheeses) were good quality, there were no hot options made available to us. More importantly, we did not realize breakfast was charged separately until checkout. At this price point and given the location, we found it surprising that breakfast was not included, particularly given the additional cost relative to what was offered.
The hotel’s remote location is also something future guests should keep in mind. During our stay, there was unfortunately no evening food or beverage service available on-site (onsite restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday evenings), and nearby dining options were quite limited. We also learned that the property is unstaffed from around 21:00 until the following morning. Both things may be useful to know before booking.
The pool area is beautiful, but during several hours spent there we did not see any staff presence. Throughout that time, used towels remained scattered around the pool area and empty glassware was left on tables. The minibar in our second room also never cooled properly despite efforts to address it. None of these issues were major on their own, but together they added up.
Le Mas de Peint is a genuinely special place, which is exactly why the shortcomings stood out so clearly. What stayed with us most was the contrast between the exceptional property itself and an experience that never quite felt as polished as we expected from a property of this caliber. While we appreciated the kindness and efforts of the staff, the combination of these issues left us disappointed overall. It seems like our experience was the exception rather than the norm.

My stay at Mas de Peint was an absolutely remarkable experience, both for the quality of the accommodations and the culinary offerings. The estate is a true haven of peace, nestled in the heart of the Camargue. The understated elegance of the setting, the authenticity of the house, the beauty of the landscapes, and the attentive welcome from the entire team create a unique atmosphere where one immediately feels privileged.
As for the restaurant, the experience was just as memorable. Chef Dan Rodrigues offers cuisine deeply inspired by the Camargue and its environment. His approach is sincere, committed, and particularly interesting: vegetables from the garden, local produce, vibrant, plant-based cuisine that respects the rhythm of the seasons. Each dish tells a story and accurately reflects the identity of the region. Special mention goes to the chef's creativity and his ability to elevate simple ingredients with great finesse and emotion.
The "Fragments of the Camargue" menu is a true immersion in this exceptional terroir, a blend of land, water, vegetation, and local traditions. A truly wonderful place for lovers of gastronomy, nature, and the art of living. An experience I wholeheartedly recommend during a stay in the Camargue.

I recently stayed at Le Mas de Peint, and my experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The team was incredibly kind and attentive, taking care of every detail and making us feel truly welcome.
From the moment you enter the estate, there is an immediate sense of calm - it feels like being at home. We especially appreciated the beautiful décor and the peaceful atmosphere that makes the property so serene.
We also had dinner at the restaurant, where both the food and the service were outstanding.
During our stay, we had the chance to go riding at the nearby Manade Jacques Bon. The horses were a pleasure to ride - well cared for and very well trained. It was honestly one of the best riding experiences I have ever had.
I sincerely recommend Le Mas de Peint to anyone planning a stay in the Camargue.
