Extensive menu. We booked for Sunday lunch. We had mussels and fries and a waffle for dessert. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful.

Passing through last week, we had a mixed experience at this restaurant. We ordered classic dishes that were clearly lacking in flavor. The Welsh rarebit was bland, with an unpleasant, industrial-tasting sauce. My partner's dish wasn't any better: tough meat, tasteless, with an excessive amount of shallots. The fries were okay, nothing special. Furthermore, the service made us feel uncomfortable: the waiter poured us the last of our drinks so he could remove the bottle and free up the table as quickly as possible. We definitely felt like we were intruding, as if the sooner the meal was over, the better. The value for money (very expensive), the overall quality, and the experience were all disappointing. Mixed review.

We went there two days in a row. The first time, just the two of us, the service was slow and only moderately pleasant; it took 20 minutes to change a keg of beer, lol... The food served everyone else around us who arrived after us was served before us. The second day, the same waiter had no complaints. As for the food, the dishes are quite good for a slightly high price, but we are in Le Touquet... We will return because overall, this restaurant remains very satisfactory in terms of value for money.

The VBA signature burger is a must-try! The staff is incredibly attentive to us, as well as babies and pets. Don't hesitate!

03/10/2025: A warm and unconditional welcome. The owner is a real joker who cracks joke after joke. A special mention goes to his Belgian accent (it's like being in Bruges!). Costume parties are a must-see in Le Touquet, with the folklore that characterizes the establishment. We love them, we go, and we come back! As the owner says: "Tata Yoyo les Copains"! A single word, a single gesture, and everything becomes magical at La Savane!

11/11/2025: The food (mussels and meat) was good but nothing special, quite disappointing to be honest considering the price. You're paying for the location. We still had a nice, friendly time, though.
08/09/2025: Why mussels from Holland, Without being chauvinistic, would Bouchots or Mont St Michel Bay have been better?
