Visited Le Matisse during our stay at Le Touquet as part of a celebration for my Mum’s 70th birthday. The restaurant is clean and welcoming with beautiful decor, the service was personable - warm and friendly - and the food was absolutely delicious! They even played “Happy Birthday” and surprised us with candles on our desserts! The food was so good we will be returning again before our visit is finished!

A very good experience with a diverse team. I had the pleasure of meeting Fred, a new waiter, as well as Sacha, who served us throughout our meal. A big thank you to them both; they were fantastic.

Food: Not great, overcooked steak. Mass-produced. Service: Slow to take orders, complicated to pay. Atmosphere: Loud TV noise. Tourist restaurant

We received a very warm welcome with our golden retriever, the waiter was helpful, and we ate very well.

Very good food, beautifully presented and generous portions. An enormous skate wing, a perfectly spiced, medium-rare tartare, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Excellent value for money.

We had a good time, only one small complaint about the cod being cooked: it was a little undercooked.

17/08/2026: Friendly staff and excellent food, we had a great time
10/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, the price is very reasonable for the quality served. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and despite the complexity of the Welsh rarebit, it was excellent, as was the rest of the menu. A very good place, I highly recommend it!
