Traditional Burgundian dishes, very delicious, especially their escargots, I have never tasted such delicious food in Paris

On the pricey side, but well worth it for the food. Few/no vegetarian options, but they think very well about solutions. Star less because there was 6 euros worth of water on the bill without asking for it.

Have to say that a dinner at Le Maufoux was one of our best experience in France - the warm hospitality, the ”welcome-ness”, the food and wine. We will remember our visit in Beaune with love - and also the wunderful bread before the dinner👌😍

Great restaurant! From the welcome to the meal, everything was perfect. We had snails and eggs in meurette, it was excellent! If you want a typical Burgundy meal, Maufoux will satisfy you. Special mention for the wine. We will come back with pleasure.

An address to absolutely share! Good taste for the eyes with quality dishes, but above all good taste for the taste buds! Dishes that smell like Burgundy, full of different and balanced flavors, served by a hostess who takes great care of her customers. All this means that the quality-price ratio is excellent, and that we leave promising ourselves to come back!

Le Maufoux is a small and cheery restaurant that always appears to be busy. The menu is pretty simple, with only three main courses the night we were there. Small menus are never a problem for my wife and I, as we can almost always find something we like. In this case, we both chose the salmon, and it was perfectly prepared. The kitchen has just one chef who prepares everything, and he has a station where he can not only oversee the restaurant, but you can watch him work his magic. Our server was friendly and efficient, and she was working as furiously as the chef. The wine list is large for a small restaurant, and prices for both food and wine were very reasonable, given the high quality. All in all, a little gem that has us looking forward to a return.

Fabuleuse carte des vins, c'est d'ailleurs la raison de notre présence ici. Pouvoir déguster à nouveau un Chablis de Raveneau tarifé très raisonnablement est un privilège que j'apprécie. Les escargots sont bons, riches en purée de persil qui équilibre le gras du beurre et la puissance de l'ail. Les oeufs meurette allégé par une sauce fluide mais goûteuse et un émincé de champignons enrobent bien le palais. Bonne soirée, peut-être un peu rapide, la carte courte et rodée depuis un certain temps (les changements ne sont pas si nombreux), fait que la cuisine envoie vite.
