The service is exceptional, the waiters/waitresses are very kind, and the mojitos are so good!! (Oscar we will miss you….)

Not bad but I recommend going with friends, not as a couple (or young lovers eh!), because it's too noisy for us. We were inside and the music was loud, too loud for our tired forty-something ears 😅 Otherwise the cocktails and tapas were good and served more “generously” than elsewhere. It's nice. A good quality/quantity/price ratio for this area. On the other hand, what is a shame is that our Edenred restaurant ticket card was not accepted (we were during the week).

Very happy to have stopped by the max after some shopping. The barman Ali was very kind and made us some great cocktails.

The place is very nice but the wait is long to get your drink (20min) and the tapas are quite expensive for what they are. The cocktails are 12€ which is quite expensive but the homemade ice tea is very good

We are really at the max in this bar! Beautiful terrace with plenty of space. HH from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., half liter of cocktail at €12 The feria board is amazing!! Very friendly waiters and waitresses. We love

Very nice bar. The cocktails are good, €12 for XL mojitos during happy hour. You can smell a little alcohol at the first sip so mix well. You have to be careful, the bartender doesn't always understand what you're ordering. Make sure with him. We had a cheese board, the bread was just how I like it.

It was very nice; the board was generous and the cocktails good; a little expensive but I imagine these are the prices in the heart of Paris! The waitresses were also very friendly. Small negative opinion if I may: I really liked the music (it's a kind of, excuse the incorrect vocabulary, Electro-Dubstep-Trance?), but, while it was early (7 or 8 p.m.) the music was enormously forced; as we had come for a bar and a chat we enjoyed it less. But otherwise it was very good.

Le Max is a café bar located in a pedestrian street about a hundred meters from the Etienne Marcel Metro station. It is a lively café bar area every day from late afternoon. Happy Hours are from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. The establishment has a shaded terrace on the pedestrian street with a projection of a football match on its window. Inside there are two rooms, one on the ground floor and one in the basement. Both rooms are welcoming and are nicely decorated. There's a wide choice of drinks and snacks. In the middle of a rush, the service is down and you have to be patient, which can be up to 50 minutes of waiting or call out the black waiter who is helpful. Apart from that, it's one of the best Parisian café bars in the Châtelet les Halles district. There's nothing to say about the quality, price and quantity ratio.

04/09/2024: I had to leave from this train station to get to Barcelona-Sants and it was so easy to get to Gare de Lyon from the train station in Saint-Denis. It's a very busy station but it was clean and there was a lot of staff to help passengers. The staff members were lovely and gave good advice and directions. It was my first time using the high speed train service in Paris so they were able to explain the process. The platform number is only confirmed approx. 20 minutes before the departure time and you'll need to use your ticket QR code to scan to pass through the gate at the platform. I bought my ticket via eurail. Note that your Global Pass is scanned on the train by a train conductor not at the gate. Lots of seating is around the train station and not sure about the bathroom situation as I didn't use it while I was there but I don't think the public bathroom is free of charge. There are lots of eateries and little shops/kiosks to purchase food, snacks and beverages to take on your journey with you. I didn't see a place to buy postcards though. There were a few beggars around the station but just politely refuse if you don't have euros to give them. In general, July is a busy time of year because of the season and even more so in my case as I was in Paris for the Olympics. Great location and I really loved the Olympic spirit that the station displayed.

A Nosa Casa Galicia

06/11/2024: Mandatory for every Galician living in Paris. Star Galicia and Albariño beer at a good price. Good Padrón peppers and broken eggs with chistorra. The octopus is decent. I don't recommend either the omelet or the potatoes with ali oli (they were potatoes cooked with mayonnaise). The Santiago cake is good and they have coffee liqueur and pomace cream. They take time to serve but they are very friendly.
06/10/2024: A nice little tapas restaurant with an authentic and unvarnished atmosphere. We have the feeling of being transported to a roadside in Galicia in the 90s. On the other hand, everything is excessively salty which seriously harms the taste pleasure. Too bad because we are hesitant to come back
