Fish, fish and more fish. Fantastic Soupe de Poisson first with rouille, not free of garlic but when in the Camargue. Then moules in a tasty sauce and sea bream total as a main course. All delicious and on the banks of the etang, with great service. Best dry white wine around the corner. All top, friendly priced too. Fill your wallet because you pay in cash. Worth a detour, they say in the Michelin guide.

Very beautiful place on the edge of the Vaccares pond, absolutely delicious fish cuisine, fish soup, mussels, freshly caught and grilled sea bream, the service is adorable, a superb address!

Great discovery with a unique menu, a top-notch fish soup, a high-level Christophe-style mussel, a wild sea bream caught by the chef, just magnificent, we stuck with it for dessert. Simply let yourself be guided, sit down and enjoy.

11/12/2024: We had a wonderful lunch at the Bar Tabac Brasserie in Arles France. Right off the square with lots of atmosphere. We had butternut squash soup (Veloute' de butternut, Poe'lee' de champignons, lord grille et ses croutons) actually really thick, creamy and rich soup with lardons (small pieces of pork) and divine crunchy croutons. In the USA this would be a bowl of soup, in France it's a meal and evidence of a dedication to making food a sensuous experience.
07/12/2024: I enjoyed myself, quality of service, quality on the plate, very welcoming and warm person I am not from Arles, but nevertheless I felt at home there I know that when I come back, I will not look for a another address a pleasure to return to this beautiful place of people who put their heart into it and it shows. Thank you very much for this moment and this delicious meal. See you soon.

05/11/2024: Really surprising and crazy simple restaurant
30/09/2024: On y est allés car le restaurant qu’ont voulait était trop loin. Belle découverte mais sans +. Serveuse sympathique mais le lieu est un peu vieillot (comme figé dans le temps). Des plats simples et certaines spécialités fallait les commander à l’avance mais rien de bien grave car il y avait d’autres choix.
