The dishes were quite good (squid for one and lamb shank for the other), but be aware that there are optional side vegetables (rice/potatoes) which are extra. It's true that they're listed on the menu, but the waiter didn't mention that they cost extra, which is rather unusual. Hence the 4 stars and no more.

An intimate and welcoming restaurant offering a selection of truly unique dishes. An enchanting blend of aromas, flavors, and colors that invites you on a journey to the other side of the world. The balance of spices is exquisite, each ingredient cooked to perfection. The vegetables are fresh, bursting with flavor, and everything is homemade. A rare, singular, and precious gem. Not to be missed.

Excellent vegetarian dish. A mountain of vegetables on the plate, delicate and flavorful: a real treat! And the sauce makes it all incredibly delicious! Second visit to Melting Pot... A truly unique place in Cherbourg and beyond! Here, there's no fuss... just a small, professional team, from the welcome to the service, and of course, the kitchen. No starters... just five courses, each so different and expertly prepared, from diverse origins but of guaranteed quality regardless of their provenance... Indian, French, Hungarian... here, the world and its cuisine are beautiful... Five excellent desserts 🍨 to finish off the chosen main course, and we left happy, having felt so welcome, having enjoyed such a delicious meal... and all this at an unbeatable price... What a shame not to live in the area, but when we return... we know exactly where we'll be stopping... The warm dining room, despite its charm, isn't very large... don't forget to book!
