Le Melting-Pot sur Cherbourg-Octeville

Discovered thanks to the Rough Guide, we returned to this restaurant two nights in a row because we enjoyed it so much: an abundance of vegetables, plenty of herbs, perfectly spiced (not numbingly hot), and enchanting flavors. The desserts were equally delicious and not too sweet. Healthy and generous! Relaxed atmosphere.

An absolutely unforgettable experience. This restaurant borders on perfection in every way. From the moment you arrive, you feel like you're in a special place: a warm welcome, genuine attention, and a rare level of service. You immediately feel privileged, as if every detail has been carefully considered. The cuisine is exceptional. Each dish is a true work of art, as beautiful as it is delicious. The flavors are perfectly balanced, the ingredients are of impeccable quality, and the chef's creativity shines through in every bite. It's the kind of meal that leaves a lasting impression and is remembered for a long time. The setting is elegant without being pretentious, with a perfectly controlled ambiance. You feel comfortable from beginning to end, without a single flaw. Honestly, it's hard to find a single negative point. It's exactly what you expect from a great restaurant, and even more. A remarkable place that I wholeheartedly recommend and where I will return again and again.

It was a very cold and rainy day, and the food, hot, Asian stew, tasty and spicy was a gift. Very good and the price was right. Clean and cozy. Highly recommended

Beautiful and delicious food on the plate with a welcome like we wish we saw more often.

We came for lunch, and everything was excellent: perfectly cooked, a wonderful blend of flavors—nothing to complain about. All the dishes are homemade; we had the squid in tomato sauce, chicken satay, and salmon. We highly recommend it!

Delicious fish and meat dishes bursting with flavor and crisp, fresh vegetables. Reservations are recommended as seating is limited. It can get a bit noisy depending on the groups...

A lovely atmosphere, an original and delicious menu!

The restaurant has a good atmosphere. The waitress was very nice. The meal was good but not exceptional. The meat was a little too tough. The rice could have been better chosen to make it really delicious. The price is high, but the portion size is very generous. The desserts are very expensive (€7.50). The sauce was good; a little stronger would have been perfect. The vegetables were great.
