Second visit to Melting Pot... A truly unique place in Cherbourg and beyond! Here, there's no fuss... just a small, professional team, from the welcome to the service, and of course, the kitchen. No starters... just five courses, each so different and expertly prepared, from diverse origins but of guaranteed quality regardless of their provenance... Indian, French, Hungarian... here, the world and its cuisine are beautiful... Five excellent desserts 🍨 to finish off the chosen main course, and we left happy, having felt so welcome, having enjoyed such a delicious meal... and all this at an unbeatable price... What a shame not to live in the area, but when we return... we know exactly where we'll be stopping... The warm dining room, despite its charm, isn't very large... don't forget to book!

Discovered thanks to the Rough Guide, we returned to this restaurant two nights in a row because we enjoyed it so much: an abundance of vegetables, plenty of herbs, perfectly spiced (not numbingly hot), and enchanting flavors. The desserts were equally delicious and not too sweet. Healthy and generous! Relaxed atmosphere.

An absolutely unforgettable experience. This restaurant borders on perfection in every way. From the moment you arrive, you feel like you're in a special place: a warm welcome, genuine attention, and a rare level of service. You immediately feel privileged, as if every detail has been carefully considered. The cuisine is exceptional. Each dish is a true work of art, as beautiful as it is delicious. The flavors are perfectly balanced, the ingredients are of impeccable quality, and the chef's creativity shines through in every bite. It's the kind of meal that leaves a lasting impression and is remembered for a long time. The setting is elegant without being pretentious, with a perfectly controlled ambiance. It was a very cold and rainy day, and the food, hot, Asian stew, tasty and spicy was a gift. Very good and the price was right. Clean and cozy. Highly recommended
