Le Mimo sur Ajaccio

After a long and tiring day, we found rest at the Mimo restaurant, where we received a warm welcome. The people who work there are very friendly. The chef made us an exceptional mayonnaise that perfectly complemented our fries. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

Passing through on a family vacation, we were drawn in by the daily special (€19.90 for a starter and main course) and a short pizza menu, which is often a sign of freshness. What a surprise to discover that one person was managing everything: the welcome, the service, and the kitchen! The result was simply amazing. Bravo, because everything was delicious. Excellence lies in the details: • A flavorful homemade mayonnaise. • Perfectly cooked pizzas. • A succulent and generous calzone. Admittedly, you sometimes have to wait a little if the tables arrive at the same time, but the wait is more than worth it for: 1. The impeccable quality of the ingredients. 2. Unbeatable value for money. 3. The kindness and dedication of this "one-man band." We're going back tomorrow to confirm this superb experience. Go without hesitation!

The place is unassuming and very simple, but the food was incredibly delicious! A real hidden gem!! Whether it was the Margherita pizza for our son, the homemade fries, the starter salad with potatoes and herring, or the meat, everything was very tasty. The menu is small but excellent, the owner is very friendly, and all at a great price.
