Our benchmark for eating well!! We have been to the Hesperius restaurant 4-5 times and have never been disappointed! The service has always been high quality, whether on the terrace (summer) or inside with very kind, fast and attentive employees. The food is excellent, with seasonal or gourmet menus that are all exquisite. Last week the appetizer was an EXCELLENT little soup. As always we had foie gras, very good. As for the dish, we try to change and test new flavors, you will be served when you go! The restaurant only serves in the evening which means you don’t have to eat in the hubbub… we highly recommend it!! PS: the photos are from this summer but our last visit was at the beginning of November!

Big hygiene problem! Barely installed, I noticed that the plating had been done on a dirty table: sticky traces of glasses from the previous service! The installed glasses were full of traces of limescale and drips from the dishwasher! The worst being the presence of hair in my main dish: a beef fillet. Too bad, the foie gras was excellent as well as the scallops. Top service, provided by Charline who offered a very compassionate apology. We interrupted our lunch, appetite lost...

On our way back to Cologne, we stopped in Metz and discovered this charming restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic menu and felt incredibly welcomed. There was no better way to end our vacation. Merci!

11/07/2025: I had lunch here and met Yannis the chef who recommended an Angus beef which was superbly accompanied by his new maître d'hôtel sauce and cooked as requested. I recommend it. I had a great time, thanks to the whole team.
10/07/2025: The service was a bit rushed. It had to be fast. The wrong drink was delivered first, but it was quickly corrected. Loud surroundings, but the atmosphere was pleasant. The carpaccio was good, but there was too much balsamic vinegar on it. Keep it simple.

13/08/2024: lunch with colleagues very good dishes but still expensive for lunch break so that from time to time a formula for less than 15€ would be good otherwise you have to count between 20 and 30€ for a complete meal with drink without forcing
10/08/2024: Friendly place, staff too and the food is good quality. There is also a pleasant outdoor terrace
