I love Le Miroir and always make a point of inviting friends visiting Martigues. Its location, right on the edge of the famous Miroir aux Oiseaux (Mirror of Birds), is a real treat, and its charming and dedicated staff and delicious cuisine make it a truly delightful experience. We stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting Martigues. The recommendations from various guidebooks displayed outside drew us in, and they were well-deserved. We had lunch for two on the terrace. The setting is superb, charming, and very peaceful. The staff is highly competent and friendly. We opted for the set menu (starter + main course). An explosion of flavors awaited us from the very first bite of the tapenade served with our aperitif, followed by the starter: (cold minestrone with delicious tomato sorbet). The main course (fish of the day) was perfect. If you're ever in the area, go without hesitation; you won't be disappointed.

Tasty food, quality products, quantities a little small, especially regarding the mussels as a starter...the restaurant is nicely decorated, you know you are in Provence...the welcome was lukewarm, they do the job, nothing more...a shame.

While passing through the area, we had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant with its terrace overlooking the harbor. The service was very quick and friendly. The cuisine was local and very refined. Excellent value for money. In short, a very pleasant experience.

16/05/2026: I first came by chance, drawn in by the shellfish platter. Not disappointed by the service and the seafood, I returned a second time. The waiter and the owner (who was in the kitchen) were very friendly. Now working in Carro, I will definitely come back.

11/05/2026: As a seafood lover, I came to the shop once to buy oysters and twice to eat alone in the restaurant within two weeks. The welcome and service were very friendly and family-oriented, provided by the owner and his daughter in the evenings, while the mother was in the kitchen. Believe me, it's the best value for money and quantity for shellfish in Martigues and the surrounding area! I plan to return with friends and/or family in the coming days. A must-visit if you love shellfish! P.S.: They also offer a ribeye steak option for those who are less keen on seafood, as well as a children's menu. Sorry about the photo, I'd already started on the boat! 😂
