I love Le Miroir and always make a point of inviting friends visiting Martigues. Its location, right on the edge of the famous Miroir aux Oiseaux (Mirror of Birds), is a real treat, and its charming and dedicated staff and delicious cuisine make it a truly delightful experience. We stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting Martigues.
The recommendations from various guidebooks displayed outside drew us in, and they were well-deserved.
We had lunch for two on the terrace.
The setting is superb, charming, and very peaceful.
The staff is highly competent and friendly.
We opted for the set menu (starter + main course). An explosion of flavors awaited us from the very first bite of the tapenade served with our aperitif, followed by the starter: (cold minestrone with delicious tomato sorbet).
The main course (fish of the day) was perfect.
If you're ever in the area, go without hesitation; you won't be disappointed.

Tasty food, quality products, quantities a little small, especially regarding the mussels as a starter...the restaurant is nicely decorated, you know you are in Provence...the welcome was lukewarm, they do the job, nothing more...a shame.

While passing through the area, we had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant with its terrace overlooking the harbor. The service was very quick and friendly. The cuisine was local and very refined. Excellent value for money. In short, a very pleasant experience.
