We ate on the terrace, and there was a strong smell of sewage. The starters we ordered were good. However, the main course was very average (the cuttlefish was rubbery and full of oil, and the prawns were full of sand), and the interior was unwelcoming and very cold, with questionable cleanliness.

The place is clean, but the waitress is about as friendly as a prison guard. As for the food, I'd say it's decent, especially in peak season, especially in winter.

Fresh cuttlefish cooked on the griddle for under €20! Perfectly cooked and served with amazing homemade saffron rice. I'll definitely be back.

16/04/2026: Although they were finishing their shift, they still agreed to serve us. Impeccable service and a perfect daily special. As usual.
10/04/2026: A very good experience at Maritima in Martigues. The welcome was warm and the setting pleasant, ideal for a relaxing time. I opted for mussels and fries, which were well-prepared and delicious, with generous portions. The service was efficient and friendly. A real plus: dogs are welcome, which is especially appreciated. I highly recommend it!
