Fantastic discovery... a very welcoming establishment with regional cuisine and beautifully prepared, high-quality dishes in sauce. The Montaud salad, with its melt-in-your-mouth duck breast and gizzards, and its delicious foie gras, is a standout. And what can I say about the Plan B? The meat melts in your mouth... Go there, but call ahead, Le Moderne is always packed.

We stopped by about ten days ago! Excellent local cuisine, and top-notch service thanks to the friendliness of the waiters and waitresses! A restaurant not to be missed! A wonderful time spent among the English 😉. Well done and thank you!

In a picturesque French village, on the side of an ancient town square, is a superb restaurant, cafe and community hub that it 'Le Moderne'. With my cousin buying a house nearby I've enjoyed this place numerous times; from coffee in the morning, the €15 set 3 course lunch and evenings with an Armagnac. Staff are awesome, house wine is 10€ a litre and the al a carte menu impressive too...

21/09/2024: Cozy terrace in the courtyard and delicious cuisine. Too quick succession of different courses.
12/09/2024: We had a very good evening, the waiters were smiling and very pleasant, the meal was exquisite, from starters to dessert, it was a real treat. An option is offered for vegetarians and unlike usual the vegetarian dish was as good and well presented as the other dishes. We marveled at the beauty of the dessert and the taste was there too. It was a pleasure to eat at this restaurant, we will come back. Thanks again to all the team, congratulations to the kitchen team.

27/10/2025: Very nice experience with 5 cakes ordered for a birthday which allowed us to discover the diversity of the flavors worked. Very appreciated! The team showed flexibility with our order, with attention to customer service. We will come back!
