We had lunch at Café Le Moderne on a Thursday. Delicious meal. Homemade cuisine. Unbeatable value for money. All this in a restaurant overlooking a magnificent historic square. We highly recommend it!

We only had a drink there in the afternoon but the waiter was great and I know their food because I've had lunch there several times - it's very good, the plates are generous and the atmosphere is friendly!

Passing through for the bank holiday weekend, my granddaughter and I went to eat at Le Moderne upstairs and we weren't disappointed at all! 🤗 The staff were fantastic, especially our waiter René 😊 who was incredibly professional and had a great sense of humor that immediately put us at ease. The wait between courses was reasonable, and the bartender Nicolas 👍 was very friendly. Overall, there was a great atmosphere, and a special shout-out to Gigi 😉. The dishes were excellent and well-proportioned from appetizer to dessert (the whipped cream was amazing! 😋). I highly recommend this restaurant. 🫶😋👍

A very pleasant surprise, this restaurant was a real find! We opted for the set menu. The meal was generous, the food homemade with local ingredients, the atmosphere friendly, the prices very reasonable, and the waiter very kind. The restaurant was full one weekday, but there were still seats available outside.
We wish we could find restaurants like this more often. We will definitely return if we are ever in the area again. 🙂

Le Moderne is located in the beautiful center of Villeréal. You can comfortably sit both inside and outside. There's a lively atmosphere, creating a pleasant ambiance. The food and drinks are of good quality, as is the value for money. Importantly, the service is also quick and attentive.
