Everything very good. The only point to take into account is that it is EVERYTHING decorated in Tin Tin. If you don't love that maybe the experience will be a little strange.

Our stay at the Le Monarque hotel was very mixed.
If the catering service (breakfast and restaurant) as well as the quality of the room convinced us, we were disappointed and distraught by the lack of communication, particularly with the reception manager.
Indeed, several points caught our attention:
First of all, our room was located in a difficult to access location. Our household is made up of people with reduced mobility and our room located at the top of 55 steps (14 going down and 41 going up from the restaurant) to be climbed in a narrow staircase without the possibility of elevators which is very unusual for a hotel of this range.
The receptionist did not warn us of the difficulty of accessibility to the room and did not offer a solution despite the predictable problems that this would cause. She barely showed us the way, she told us to go through the corridor but never mentioned the next fifty or so narrow steps...
We had dinner at the restaurant (superb service and good quality of service) the evening of our arrival. We only found out the next day via a somewhat hidden sign that a kir was offered to us. When we made the remark, the same hostess gave us a curt no without further explanation and when we wanted to know more, the latter was silent. Once again, communication that leaves much to be desired.
It is a shame that a hotel offering great advantages (great cycling organization, great geographical location allowing you to do everything on foot, good quality catering service) is burdened with such a concern for communication (absence of mention of the difficulties access, refusal of communication with customers). All of this taints the customer experience.
We also deplore the lack of solution offered to people with reduced mobility because all the rooms are located at the top of a staircase, more or less difficult to climb.

We arrived very late (10 p.m.) due to an accident on the highway, thanks to the receptionist for her availability. We slept well and peacefully.

Lors de nos venues à Blois, nous avons pris l’habitude de réserver au Monarque.
L’hôtel est très bien situé, on y mange très bien et les employés sont particulièrement sympathiques.
Au plaisir d’y retourner.
