Le Mont-Blanc sur Chalon-Sur-Saone

Having family in Chalon-sur-Saône, we regularly come to this restaurant because the manager is so friendly. He always takes the time to chat with us. In addition, the menu is homemade from appetizer to dessert, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. He always accommodates my vegetarian needs by creating a special menu for me, which I greatly appreciate. There's always an excellent local wine to complement the meal. It's a restaurant I highly recommend.

Passing through Chalon-sur-Saône, we trusted the positive reviews of this restaurant and booked a table. We also had a delightful time enjoying a unique and delicious evening menu: two-salmon terrine, chicken with Vin Jaune sauce and morels, and apple tart with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Everything is homemade. Authentic service and cuisine, a good local wine, and to top it all off, a genuine conversation with the owner's family. We highly recommend this establishment to both visitors and locals who are lucky enough to have Mont Blanc nearby!

I'm used to eating in gourmet restaurants. The Mont Blanc restaurant is superb. The meal was delicious, and the service was top-notch. Good, home-style cooking. I recommend this restaurant.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. We were a group of 18, and everyone agreed. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was excellent. A huge thank you for the eggs meurette—they were divine! The chicken with crayfish and the pavlova were also very good. The owners were also incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. As a couscous lover, I ordered two to go about two weeks ago. Frankly, for €40, I was surprised when I opened the bag! There were very few vegetables and very little juice; I don't know if the vendor mixed up with another customer. If not, it's truly outrageous! For €10 per person, the couscous from Moret caterers in Chatenoy is much more generous… I should have gone back to complain in person. I had excellent memories of this establishment when Paulette was running it. I will, however, try again and hopefully prove her wrong.
