Very pleasant setting and welcome, simple and effective menu. Tasty and generous cuisine. We appreciated the "homemade" feel and the smiles. Prices in line with the meal. A place to discover.

Arrived at 1:15 p.m., very well received. Very friendly staff. Excellent oysters, whelks, mussels in citrus sauce, and crab claws, all ultra-fresh. A wonderful time spent with friends. I admit I don't understand the negative reviews. I highly recommend it.

The daily menu at €15 is very reasonable, with a friendly and welcoming reception. The à la carte dishes featuring a variety of seafood look generous. They also sell seafood. In July and August, they offer barbecued mussels cooked over pine needles, a Vendée specialty, as well as mogettes (local dried beans).

We had mussels and fries...but they were of poor quality. They "spooned" a ladleful of cream, and some of the mussels were a long way from being cooked. It's a shame, because the setting is quite nice.

Disappointing. Squid in chorizo ​​mushroom sauce without chorizo ​​flavor with canned mushrooms and defrosted sweet potatoes. All in a béchamel sauce that is too thick. Bland in taste. For 20.50 euros per dish I expected better. Long waiting time. Nice environment.

Ferme Auberge l'Ille Sauvage

15/08/2024: Stop at a campsite because the place is close to the Velodysee. The reception is very friendly and accommodating regarding times (arrived around 7:30 p.m.). The toilets were clean. Camping is in a harvested field adjoining the inn, possibility of sheltering from the wind near the central pond I ate at the hostel in the evening and the food was very good. The absolute calm at night was very appreciable.
08/08/2024: Very nice site for campers! Warm and friendly welcome by the hosts, quiet location, excellent meal (sea sauerkraut) and very pleasant service!

07/07/2025: A very good restaurant, highly recommended. Very, very friendly staff. Especially Ophélie. Kisses from Mayenne, from Kélya and Maxence.
22/06/2025: AMAZING!!! Proper savoury crepes (called Galettes). Nice setting - outside in the shade. Highly recommend. Chips with garlic butter - yum!
