We had a lovely time as a family. A pleasant place. The chef and his wife made us feel very welcome and took the time to describe each dish. A wonderful discovery; we'll gladly return. This is exactly the kind of atmosphere we love: warmth and smiles.

The restaurant owners are very welcoming; you can really taste the North in the food and the friendliness of the waitress. My only complaint is that it's a shame this place is a bit removed from the center of Ambrières, or even the Mayenne region. But I highly recommend you go and try their simple, efficient, and family-style menu, which is typically Northern French. Reservations for Sunday are essential... The price-quality ratio (€20-€30 for a starter, main course, and dessert) is very good, and everything is homemade... Go and discover this charming little place!

A small group of six old friends, the place was perfect for our reunion! A very authentic atmosphere, a simple and warm welcome in a beautifully decorated setting. The food? A delight! Fresh, carefully selected ingredients for original and delicious dishes. Nothing to complain about, except: "Go there, you won't be disappointed!"

Don't hesitate to step inside this charming spot. We came with friends, a group of six. Being from Lille, I can assure you of the quality of the food and the "homemade" aspect. We had a starter, main course, and dessert. A special mention goes to the Welsh rarebit, which was absolutely divine! The best I've ever tasted. And let's not forget the fries cooked in beef tallow! The service was quick and efficient. You managed to create a cozy atmosphere. Simplicity, authenticity, and conviviality. 10/10 for this new address; we will definitely be back. I felt right at home. Thank you for your hard work and generosity, which is evident in both the service and the food. Furthermore, the prices are very reasonable; this is a must-try in the region.

A small, unassuming restaurant offering authentic Northern French cuisine (unique in Mayenne). The homemade terrine was excellent, the Welsh rarebit was a success, as was the merveilleux (a Lille dessert that can sometimes be cloying, which isn't the case here!). We'll be back 😊

Great working-class restaurant, set menu, exceptional value for money. The meat was cooked perfectly, and the service was friendly and welcoming. The homemade fries were delicious. Please note, restaurant vouchers are not accepted (small establishment).
