The food was very good... but the service was too slow the day we went.

The setting is truly delightful: a charming old mill, ideally located for a pleasant time. It's best to book in advance. The welcome was adequate but rather impersonal. The person who greeted us and then took our payment clearly lacked warmth and a smile, which contrasted somewhat with the ambiance. However, it wasn't excessive, just below what one might expect. On the other hand, the table service was excellent: the young waitresses were pleasant, smiling, and professional. As for the meal, there's nothing to complain about: it was hearty and generous. A small platter of toasts was served with the aperitif, a very thoughtful touch. The plates were well-filled and satisfying. Overall, a good place to eat, especially for the setting and the generous portions.

My go-to spot since I arrived in Vendôme. I love this restaurant with its home-style cooking (in the best sense of the word) and warm atmosphere. Their daily specials are generous, the cheeses delicious, and the service impeccable.

The schedule of this restaurant is interesting: it is only open from Wednesday to Saturday! I will be back with an update on the culinary experience..

Finally, a restaurant that offers a daily special in the evening and where you eat on a tablecloth with real cloth napkins! And with different set menus, everyone can enjoy a good meal according to their budget and preferences. The portions are generous and delicious. The setting is very pretty. While passing through Vendôme, my children and I discovered this restaurant on December 30th. Luckily we had made a reservation, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

It's a Vendôme institution. The same family has been running it for several years. The restaurant is spacious with several nooks and crannies. The service is efficient and friendly. We opted for the €31 set menu. The portions are very generous and the presentation is quite elegant. It's a bit of a shame to put garlic with the fish, and the salmon was a little overcooked for my taste.
