We ate at this restaurant yesterday. The food was good and the value for money was excellent.
However, we found the service far too slow: about 30 minutes before our order was taken, then another 30-minute wait for our starter, and then another 30 minutes for our main course.
It's a real shame, because the food is good and we would have had a much better experience with smoother service. Hopefully, this aspect can be improved, as the restaurant has potential!

On a weekday in summer, with a reservation: a 1 hour 40 minute wait between arriving at the restaurant and being served the main courses, with no information (or apology) from the staff.

A wonderful find, by chance, in Vendome. We passed at 6 and made a reservation for that evening, because the setting, on a terrace over the millstream, was so delightful. We returned at 8 and took a delicious menu of truly classic, old fashioned, indulgent cuisine - a salad of foie gras and gizzards, a steak in mushroom sauce, and a plate of cheese that arrived on a trolley and was cut to order. Old fashioned and friendly service, and well priced local wine. If you enjoy cream, morels, truffle, foie gras and cognac... this is the place!
