Great restaurant for lunch. We were in a hurry and the service was very efficient, so much so that we even had time to eat dessert. Homemade dishes with good products, the mushroom pasta and the chocolate mousse were delicious.

Hôtel du Cloître Saint Louis

13/03/2026: The hotel is interesting and with good location as everything in Avignon is very walkable. The one thing to criticise is the breakfast’s price, it is VERY expensive for what it is. I don’t like complaining in general, but the breakfast’s quality was bad and when we saw the price we were shocked!!! Otherwise the reception stuff were lovely and helpful!
16/02/2026: Hotel in a historic location, furnished in a very modern and comfortable style.

16/03/2026: The sandwiches were really good (focacia mozzarella and falafel wraps) but the waitress was disorganized, and initially sold us a meat-eater sandwich.
04/03/2026: Located right on the main street of the republic, I recommend Edgar because there is a wide selection of fresh produce as well as delicious desserts; they also offer packages with drinks.
