LE NEPTUNE sur Paimpol

Excellent cuisine, with a very reasonably priced set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) at lunchtime. The classic dishes, available à la carte year-round, are superb. The waitress was very friendly and professional. It's a restaurant I frequent and I've never been disappointed. I highly recommend it!

An excellent find! The restaurant is truly top-notch, with very pleasant service, high-quality ingredients, and delicious dishes. The mussels were delicious, and the seafood platter was a real treat—fresh and generous. But the real highlight is the desserts: a true delight for the taste buds. The trompe l'oeil mango, pear Belle Hélène, strawberry Melba, and chocolate fondant were all perfectly executed. A wonderful discovery; I highly recommend it.

A wonderful discovery on the Paimpol harbor quayside, offering excellent seafood and beautifully prepared dishes. Delicious homemade desserts too, and the service was impeccable.

Very good restaurant. From a human perspective, I think that, given so many Germans vacationing here, a menu in German shouldn't be a problem with today's technology.

Mixed feelings about our visit to Neptune in Paimpol. The decor is warm and inviting, and the cod with Paimpol beans was truly delicious, with a nice, original touch of popcorn. However, several details bothered us: the salt shakers weren't very clean, the small pepper mill was very basic while other tables had lovely large wooden pepper mills, the water carafe's stopper looked rather unappealing, and we had to wait 20 minutes for a simple cheese plate despite the waitress's apologies. We also had a minor issue with the restrooms, where the faucet was clearly loose, and the surrounding wood seemed swollen from the humidity. The bill of €60 for two fish dishes, a glass of wine, and a cheese plate seemed a bit steep… It's a shame, because the quality of the food was truly excellent. We simply expect more attention to detail from an establishment that holds the title of Maître Restaurateur (Master Restaurateur).

We come here regularly during our weekends in Brittany, and it's always a real treat. I think we've tried almost everything on the menu, and it's always excellent. The dishes are flavorful, generous, and prepared with care. The staff is always very pleasant, welcoming, and attentive, which makes each visit even more enjoyable. A must-visit that we recommend without hesitation!
