I came yesterday at lunchtime as part of a UTL weekend: I absolutely loved it, both the food and the service. It was refined and delicious ☺️ not to mention the efficiency (group of 34 people) and the friendliness of the owner 😍 thank you for this wonderful experience!

The food was good, but we waited 30 minutes to be served when we arrived at noon. We didn't order an aperitif. My starter (ocean salad) came with a pat of butter, but my husband's (salmon gravlax) didn't. We asked for butter, and they refused, claiming it wasn't necessary with the dish! Peeling two shrimp and eating two oysters required using a paper napkin, which was cleared away but not replaced for the rest of the meal. The oysters were wedged in aluminum foil on the plate. They could do better! We ordered a simple carafe of water, which was charged at €2 because it was "ionized," claiming they couldn't serve a carafe of water otherwise since tap water isn't safe to drink!

A very friendly and warm welcome. The cuisine is original and worth discovering. The blend of flavors is very pleasant on the palate. Our dog was also very well received.

27/09/2026: Excellent dinner. And we really liked our tall, blond waiter with his goatee; he was fantastic, kind, and had a great sense of humor. Thank you to him; he made our evening wonderful.
23/09/2026: The food was sublime! Delicious flavor, large portions. The service was fine. They just didn't quite understand our French and English, but oh well... There were a lot of dogs in the restaurant, under or next to the tables. It was quite noticeable! Still, glad we ate here!

18/08/2026: Bar in the heart of Paimpol town. Large terrace and reasonable prices.
02/08/2026: A huge thank you to Seb and Manue for running this bar/tobacconist. The opening hours are great, the terrace on Place du Martray is lovely, but above all, as locals, we appreciate the unfailing kindness and smiles of the owners and their staff all year round. Thank you for existing and for keeping Paimpol vibrant throughout the year :) Thierry and Sophie from Kerfot ;)
