A good deal in Chalon where you can have a traditional lunch for less than €15, served generously, hot and without waiting too long! Good dishes with sauce, speed and seriousness of service: good quality/price ratio, the Dish of the day/dessert (or starter/Dish of the day) at around €14. The atmosphere is sometimes pleasant, the service sometimes friendly and efficient! For lunch after 12:30 it is better to reserve a table which is often full and noisy.
On route to Lyon we stopped to do some shopping in the mall and made a short coffee stop at Le Ninou where mainly the locals sat in a corner with several eateries. Besides the coffee, we saw delicious local French dishes. Good and friendly service🙂
