We loved this restaurant but not sure about vegetarian options. Had a great meal at a very reasonable price. A little hard to find as it's in a small courtyard. Great service. We booked online which is always helpful.

Excellent! Service très agréable avec un patron amical. Une nourriture très fine de l’entrée au dessert, accompagnée par une très bonne carte des vins. Une très bonne découverte - nous y retournerons!

The escalope de foie gras on a slice of apple was excellent. The magret de canard was a bit too well cooked, so was the filet de poisson. Dommage!

16/08/2024: Superb discovery! We were looking for a place to have ice cream in the middle of a heatwave. Total surprise upon entering the store which was in fact not at all an ice cream parlor like so many others but a real little corner of freshness in every sense: freshness of the temperature in the room with its vaulted arches, freshness of the very pleasant and cheerful welcome, freshness of the flavors offered (a groooos grooos ++ for these ice creams which smell and taste good, homemade), freshness of the teas (ah yes no... but delicious teas all the same :) And when we go to pay at the counter, let ourselves be tempted by pastries and they manage to both prolong the PLEASURE the next morning and the SURPRISE (I didn't remember the name of the pastry made from dough). sesame (?) adorned with a purple color that is absolutely to die for). In short, we are not nearby, but we will come back with great pleasure and we will also recommend!!

Les Magnolias

02/10/2024: The young man at the reception of our hotel recommended the restaurants of the pretty Place des Esclafidous with its small central fountain. The Magnolias restaurant was the first that we tried the evening of our arrival in Nîmes. The young waitress who welcomed us was efficient and very pleasant. We chose the starter + main course + dessert menu at €39. The dishes served were quite good and well presented but we were surprised to have to pay €1 extra per carafe of filtered water. During our stay in Nîmes, it was the only establishment that we saw practicing this not very commercial measure.
23/09/2024: Very nice, small and personal restaurant with delicious food. When the weather is nice, there is an outdoor area protected from the wind and sun. The service was very attentive, super friendly and advised us on our selection. Menu available in French, English and Spanish.
